Over 100 participants joined the Malaysian Public Speaking Open competition on 27th March 2022, organised by the Malaysian Institute Of Debate And Public Speaking.

10 students from Kolej Yayasan Saad Melaka participated in the intermediate category. The training started once the students had registered. The training focused on matter and manner of a public speaking speech and the ability to write an impromptu speech. The participants were:

1) KREESAN BATHMANABAN (Form 4) 2) ERIZ FAZLI (Form 2) 3) JASMINE HASYA BINTI JUNAIDI (Form 4) 4) DAMIA QISTINA BT MOHD AZIAN (Form 3) 5) NOOR AREENA BINTI FAUZI ABBAS (Form 3) 6) AYRA ALISHA BINTI MOHD FAUZI (Form 3) 7)UMAR KHALEED BIN SAZALIZA(Form 4) 8)ANSHULA POOJA A/P LACTMANAN RAJAN (Form 5) 9) ADEENA SALIMEE BINTI ILHAN SALIMEE (Form 3) 10) SITI KHADEEJA IMAN BINTI MOHD RADZUAN (Form 3)

4 students from KYS were selected as grandfinalist from the Intermediate catergory. The students were:

1) KREESAN BATHMANABAN 2) ANSHULA POOJA A/P LACTMANAN@RAJAN 3) SITI KHADEEJA BINTI MOHD RADZUAN 4) NOOR AREENA BINTI FAUZI ABBAS

The 4 grandfinalists put up a good fight. In the end, 2 grandfinalist from KYS came victorious. Congratulations to ANSHULA POOJA A/P LACTMANAN@RAJAN for securing the 2nd place and SITI KHADEEJA BINTI MOHD RADZUAN for securing the 3rd place.
