On 23-27 February 2023, 22 of our KYS delegation attended the MUN Model United Nations Conference in Istanbul, Turkiye. The delegates trained for 2 months and thoroughly enjoyed their time in Istanbul. We especially cherished the moment full of anticipation, laughter and fun with delegates coming from Qatar, Ethiopia, Tanzania, USA, Pakistan, Iraq and the other 50 countries. We kindly thank @istanbulmun’s Secretary General, Lojain Altayeb @positivity_bug and her entire team for hosting us.

Participation in this prestigious MUN conference gives the delegates the opportunity to exercise their diplomacy skills, and network with the chairs, delegates and global leaders from all over the world, as they take part in simulated UN sessions as representatives of different countries.

MUN teaches us to be aware of our fellow humans’ situation and we need to stand together if we wish to change the world. Thank you to @istanbulmun and all the attendees!
