A meaningful and enriching day for our Form 4 and Form 5 students at Bank Negara Malaysia, designed to provide professional insights and experiential learning in the fields of economics.

The programme began with an engaging morning session led by Mr. Afif Shamri, Senior Economist at Bank Negara Malaysia, who shared valuable insights on educational and career pathways in economics, as well as practical guidance for prospective BNM scholarship applicants. Students also participated in a thought-provoking case study discussion, exploring current global economic issues and their impact on society.

The engagement session provided a wonderful opportunity for students to interact with KYSERs currently working at Bank Negara Malaysia. This session that encouraged meaningful conversations, networking, and the sharing of experiences.

In the afternoon, students visited the Bank Negara Malaysia Museum and Art Gallery, where they gained a deeper appreciation of the nation’s financial history, economic development, and the role of the central bank in shaping Malaysia’s economy.
