Twenty KYS students attended the Ramadan Iftar & Full Moon Eclipse Observation event held at Masjid Cina (Al-Mutaqin), Melaka on 3 March 2026. They are active members of the KYS Astronomy Club, driven by a strong curiosity and passion for the field of astronomy.

Through the study of astronomy, Muslims around the world are able to accurately determine the Qibla (direction of Mecca), establish precise prayer times, and identify the beginning of months in the Islamic calendar. Programmes like this not only deepen scientific understanding but also strengthen the connection between faith and knowledge.
