From the 22nd – 28th of July 2024, the champion team of the National Science Challenge 2023, Ayra Alisha binti Mohd Affandi, Maryam Zahra binti Faisal, Jovani bin Johari and their mentor teacher Miss Chin Meng Ting embarked on a journey to the Spring City of Kunming, China to attend the 8th Belt And Road Teenager Maker Camp and Teacher Workshop as part of their winning prize.

Their itinerary included :

22nd July: Sending-off ceremony at MOSTI and departure

23rd July: Dianchi International Exhibition and Opening Ceremony

24th July: Yunnan Observatory

25th July: Baiyao Industrial Park

26th July: Cheng Jiang Fossil Land Museum

27th July: Dounan Flower Science Town and Flower Market. Closing Ceremony and visit to Dianchi Lake

28th July: Yunnan Ethnic Village and return home

A week of learning, discovery, and cultural exchange made this an unforgettable experience for the team.
