What an outstanding achievement for the KYS Debate Team at the 23rd IIUM Interschool Debating Championship (IDC) 2026!

With confidence, eloquence and sharp arguments, our debaters rose to the occasion and delivered an impressive performance, securing several notable awards throughout the competition.

Team KYS A emerged as the Champion in the English Debate Category, represented by Badrul Ariff bin Badrul Akmal and Ariff Hakimi bin Mohd Nazli.

Adding to the celebration, Badrul Ariff bin Badrul Akmal was named Grand Final Best Speaker, while Aariz Farhan bin Jamil earned 9th Best Speaker in the Preliminary Rounds.
