33rd SEA Games 2025

Congratulations to Nur Irdina Amani binti Imran from 3 Rajin for representing Malaysia in Fencing at the 33rd SEA Games 2025 in Thailand. She was among the distinguished athletes recognised during the prestigious Jalur Gemilang Handover Ceremony, officiated by the Minister of Youth and Sports, YB Hannah Yeoh, on 3 December 2025.

A true all-rounder, Irdina—who currently ranks 1st in the Girl’s Sabre (Cadet) Category under the Malaysian Fencing Federation (MFF)—also shines beyond the piste. She excels in Debate, Story-Telling, and Public Speaking, and was crowned Champion at the Green Project Public Speaking Championship 2025 last April.

In 2025, Irdina clinched 2 gold medals at the Asian Cadet Cup, as well as a bronze medal in the Women’s Sabre U15 category at the Hengfeng Championship 2025 in Taiwan. In 2024, she amassed an impressive 6 gold, 1 silver, and 2 bronze medals across various international fencing tournaments.

Her dedication, discipline, and passion for fencing have propelled her to this remarkable milestone at such a young age. Her journey is a powerful reminder of what hard work and perseverance can achieve.

Let us all give Irdina our fullest support—not just in hopes of victory, but in cherishing the invaluable experience gained along the way. May her success continue to inspire more KYS students to pursue excellence and dare to dream big.

Congratulations, Irdina! You’ve made us incredibly proud!
