Shortly after MNSDC, specifically from the 20th-21st of March, the KYS debaters participated in the Asia Scholastic Debating Championship (ASDC) alongside participants from all around the world such as Ukraine, Australia, Singapore, Indonesia and Philippines. The tournament consisted of 4 preliminary rounds and 4 out-rounds.

As luck would have it, all 4 KYS teams broke, with KYS B consisting of Hasya Mahadzir, Harvynna Kler and Caelystar Ng breaking first with all wins.

All teams debated in the Octofinals and two teams, KYS B and C managed to make it to the Quarterfinals.
