Mission

To develop Kolej Yayasan Saad into a Centre of Excellence in all aspects of education, whose students are informed in sound moral and religious values and spirit of service and dedication to the nation and who will eventually make active and responsible leaders.

Objectives

In order to realise these goals, KYS seeks to inculcate the following values in each individual student in all ways and at all times.

1. The development of individual character.

….A KYS student is God-fearing and lover of truth and who is

  • honest, responsible, self disciplined, hardworking in habit
  • open–minded, critical/analytical and self-reliant in thought
  • informed, knowledgeable, with a comprehensive outlook in culture
  • competent and efficient in his own field of study and interest

2. The development of the individual as a member of society.

….A KYS student has
  • team spirit, esprit de corps and a sense of loyalty
  • a sense of civic-consciousness, including an awareness of  his own rights and responsibilities as well as those of others
  • the spirit of service, i.e. to help those less fortunate than himself
