Every student in KYS is assigned to a boarding house. There are three houses, Rahman, Razak and Hussein. In line with our effort to produce leaders and captains of industries, the names chosen for the houses are those of Malaysia’s former prime ministers. A housemaster and his team consisting of tutors, teachers and student leaders ensure that all-round quality living is provided for every member in their houses.
Each house is unique and depicts a natural extension of family life at home. Bullying is strictly not allowed in every house. A student found bullying faced immediate expulsion. We value highly an environment that is welcoming in the houses. Every house has its own logo and cheers. These are motivational factors that keep members together in all house activities. Leadership and personal development is another feature found in the houses. The space and opportunities are maximised for boarders to grow according to their potentials.
